Lab fee: $30

Course objective: To provide students with instruction in basic air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical principles along with correct use of trade related tools and equipment.

Servicing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems

Understanding Motors and Controls

Complying with EPA Laws and Regulations

EPA 608 certification Core and Type 1

Grading policy:

The course grades will consist of quizzes, tests, labs, classwork, observations, and class participation.

All grades will be based on 100% grading scale

A          90-100

B          80-89

C         70-79

D         60-69

F          59 or below
